Litigation and Arbitration
We are regularly instructed to act for and advise clients in relation to, disputes with an international context proceeding by way of litigation or arbitration.
This can involve matters within the jurisdiction of England and Wales or overseas. For example, we are instructed in matters such as ICC arbitrations and cases proceeding in the Abu Dhabi Global Markets Court to name just two.
We will often work with local counsel or other professionals where the case requires and in other cases will provide direct representation for overseas parties.
In our experience, it is often difficult for small and medium enterprises to find high quality legal advice from lawyers experienced in international matters outside the very large legal firms and this is an area of service which we aim to cover.
